Building Confidence in Physical Education

This whole day training session is designed to support trainee teachers, NQTs and teachers who wish to improve their confidence and knowledge around PE. 

You will:

- Develop an awareness of The National Curriculum in England across KS1/KS2

- Have an awareness of the Programmes of Study and end of year expectations

- Have the opportunity to see PE in action and be aware of Health and Safety associated with PE in schools

- Know where to go for resources to support the teaching of PE in KS1/KS2


About the trainer

Jonny Holding is a Specialist Leader in Education (SLE) for PE and teaches at Wynstream Primary School. Many will recognise him from the variety of Symposium workshops he has run for Exeter Consortium, all recieving fantastic feedback.

Please note that your school budget share will be debited on ledger code 7926 up to two weeks prior to attendance at this course, in line with the cancellation policy.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Course location, programme and any course materials will normally be sent to you prior to the start of the course. All cancellations must be sent in writing as soon as the applicant is aware that they are unable to attend. If the cancellation is received 6 weeks (or 30 working days) or more prior to the start of the course, cancellation will be free of charge. If the cancellation is received between 6 weeks and two weeks (10 working days) prior to the start of the course a cancellation charge of 50% of the course fee will apply. If the cancellation is received after this point a cancellation charge of 100% of the course fee will apply. Exeter Consortium has the right to amend or cancel any courses as a result of unforeseen circumstances.
