The Project, a mental health charity based in East Devon are working with South West Teacher Training and Exeter Consortium to run a half-day workshop. The aim is to raise awareness and understanding around young people’s mental health issues, breaking down the stigma and myths surrounding mental illness, and ensuring those who work with and care for young people have the knowledge and experience to offer timely and effective support to young people in need, and to feel more confident in dealing with young people in distress. The training is delivered by The Project’s own staff team and all profits from are used to help fund local mental health support groups.

Please note that your school budget share will be debited on ledger code 7926 up to two weeks prior to attendance at this course, in line with the cancellation policy.

Booking and Cancellation Policy

Course location, programme and any course materials will normally be sent to you prior to the start of the course. All cancellations must be sent in writing as soon as the applicant is aware that they are unable to attend. If the cancellation is received 6 weeks (or 30 working days) or more prior to the start of the course, cancellation will be free of charge. If the cancellation is received between 6 weeks and two weeks (10 working days) prior to the start of the course a cancellation charge of 50% of the course fee will apply. If the cancellation is received after this point a cancellation charge of 100% of the course fee will apply. Exeter Consortium has the right to amend or cancel any courses as a result of unforeseen circumstances.
