This interactive workshop focuses on the practical aspects of delivering an engaging and informative training session.

During this session you will learn essential skills enabling you to feel confident in training peers and colleagues as part of either the CLASS programme or the Teaching and Learning Symposium.

During this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to:

  • Design and structure an effective and engaging training session
  • Effectively use activities and a range of visual aids
  • Develop rapport and handle difficult situations

This is a great bit of FREE CPD for our members who may not feel as comfortable standing up in front of adults as they do in front of their pupils.

This session will be facilitated by Kelly Newland, a leadership coach, trainer and advisor with over 15 years experience in the business and education sector. Kelly is known for her engaging and creative training approach and her work  has been featured on BBC news and as a finalist in the Education Resources Awards.
