Education Inclusion ServiceThe Education Inclusion Service provides a statutory, but impartial service for parents and carers, school governors, headteachers, school staff and other agencies about inclusion, reintegration and exclusion. Running Deer supports schools with a range of alternative therapeutic services for young people in Devon who are struggling in the classroom. 'Woodlands', On Track's Intervention Centre, is nestled in the beautiful Dartington Estate. The centre has its own unique charm and could not be better suited to support vulnerable children who struggle with the pressures of the modern world. 1-2-1 Mentors is a creative intervention service offering a range of programmes and bespoke packages to meet the needs of vulnerable children and young people. Stansfield Academy is an Alternative Provision Academy providing full time education for children from 4-16 years of age. We cover Central Devon including Exeter, East Devon and Mid Devon and work closely with Devon County Council to ensure a swift transition both into and out of the Academy to minimise the impact of any transition on the learning of those young people. Fire starting behaviour in children. Take action if you are worried about a child who displays fire-setting behaviour. Whatever their motive, fire setting should never be ignored. We can help reduce the chance of further fire-setting behaviour developing through our education and intervention programmes. Since our inception in 2009, our philosophy and practice has developed and evolved in accordance with the needs of our attendees. Exploring life-lessons through practical skills and group engagement, key to our delivery has always been rooted in a holistic approach, addressing social and emotional wellbeing and development to promote rounded, confident and resilient children that are considerate of the community they are a part of and the environment that we all share. Skylark Adventures specialise in the provision of outdoor learning for young people struggling to thrive in mainstream education. They use the natural environment to stimulate re-engagement with education. Their partnership programmes work with schools to deliver nationally recognised qualifications and awards for your young people. They also work with young people who are not currently in an educational placement to deliver bespoke plans to support them and their network whilst an appropriate placement can be found. They can work with schools and/or social workers to help find funding streams to support adventurous activity through their knowledge of available grants and social prescribing. |
