The Coaching for Leaders workshop will provide leaders and coaches with increased confidence in their coaching skills. We will reflect on the challenges and successes of coaching and enable participants to practice and receive feedback on their coaching style. We will explore a range of current and effective coaching tools to enhance the skill set of the coach. The workshop will also explore the skills associated with coaching and facilitating whole teams and how coaching can be used to engage colleagues, align goals, and provide a method to manage difficult conversations. We will reflect on some current thought leadership in coaching practice, informed by up to date organisational research relating to the effectiveness of coaching in enhancing individual and team performance. This will include a consideration of coaching different and more challenging people, and how to identify and coach people with diverse strengths and capabilities within the team environment. This practical and interactive online workshop will focus on the essential aspects of effective school marketing, helping delegates identify areas that need attention in their own school. We will understand why marketing is important and how to develop a costed and impactful action plan. Solutions are grounded in real-life and designed to help delegates get to grips with what makes their school appealing to parents and new staff. We will also learn how to market your school to attract other forms of income. Cost: £55 per person for SWIFT member schools | £85 for Non-members. Many young people on the autistic spectrum also experience high levels of anxiety which can present as a barrier to learning. High levels of anxiety can greatly impact on accessing educational settings, despite a child being very academically able. This course will aim to explain the causes of autism related anxiety, and how anxiety is expressed. It will aim to share experiences of supporting a child with high levels of anxiety, and provide strategies for supporting a child through their anxieties. Cost: £45 per person for SWIFT member schools | £75 per person for non-member schools |
