Exeter Supply Partnership | Did you know?

Exeter Supply Partnership (ESP) is a community interest company, meaning that we are a not-for-profit organisation. ESP provide a primary supply teacher and teaching assistant service to schools in and around Exeter. Our schools and teachers are at the heart of everything we do. Our primary aim is to provide quality supply teachers for schools and a positive experience for teachers themselves.

If you are interested in joining ESP as a supply teacher or teaching assistant, we are currently recruiting and offer a flexible approach to managing bookings. With ESP you can plan your own availability via a free app and whether that is one or two days a week or full time, it’s not a problem. You can also specify your year group, travel, and contact time preferences and we will only offer you the most suitable bookings for you.

To find out more and apply to join the ESP supply team, please visit our website

If you would like to register your school to use ESP for your supply cover, please visit our website for more information and complete our online registration form -

Here are some things you might not know about ESP:

  • ESP is currently in its 6th year of operating, in that time we have developed and expanded to meet the needs of local schools and teachers

  • Our name suggests that we just cover Exeter, but we have expanded to now provide a service to 100 schools and cover areas such as Newton Abbot, Paignton, Teignmouth, Okehampton, Tiverton, Cullompton, Exmouth and a growing number of schools in East Devon.

  • We provide a recruitment support service for schools; this includes advertising vacancies on our website and to our supply team or a more targeted approach where we will send you profiles of interested teachers for your vacancies and assist with organising interviews/meetings. This is free for our registered schools and if they decide to recruit one of our teachers or teaching assistants there are no ‘finders’ fees to pay.

  • We provide subsidised or free access to professional development for our teachers and teaching assistants. And at the beginning of September we organised a forest school workshop, first aid training and a safeguarding refresher. We are also supporting our Early Career Teachers with termly twilight sessions following the new Early Career Framework.
