Instructional Coaching: Developing Greatness

Instructional Coaching is a powerful tool for improving teaching and has been widely researched to have a positive impact on teacher development. According to researcher Sam Sims, instructional coaching is “probably the best-evidenced form of CPD currently known to mankind”.

This course will develop practical skills and enable teachers and leaders to embed a culture of continuous improvement via instructional coaching.

The programme will take place over two days in person and one half day online:
Day One - Wednesday 13th March 2024, 09:00 - 15:30, Countess Wear Community School
Day Two - Wednesday 24th April 2024, 09:00 - 15:30, Countess Wear Community School
Day Three - Wednesday 22nd May 2024, 09:00 - 12:00, Online via Zoom

Cost: £295 per person for SWIFT member schools | £395 for Non-members.
