At the centre of effective School Business Management is School Improvement, underpinned by the development of strategy and leadership of your staff. It is also about managing priorities, having a clear vision for how you lead and why you choose certain strategic priorities over others. This course uses the ISBL Competency Framework and other tools to equip experienced business managers with further skills, in exploring the ‘why’ and the ‘how’ of school business leadership, including: - Creating a Strategy that impacts upon School Improvement - Leading and Developing Teams - Prioritisation and Resilience Building - Knowing Yourself and Leading Others This is a one-year programme, facilitated over three training days, led by Sian Lane, School Improvement Lead and experienced Executive Headteacher and Rachel Hingston, Executive Business Manager of Cedar Tree Federation, a Federation of two primary schools, based in Exeter and East Devon Cost: The course cost of £350 per delegate covers three full days of training with course materials provided and an additional one-hour individual coaching session, with one of the trainers.
