Are you interested in developing a better understanding of wellbeing? Are you curious about how you might improve the culture of wellbeing in your school? What’s on offer? This wellbeing hub will run initially for the rest of the 2019-20 academic year. This will involve four half-termly training sessions, finishing in the summer term. Sessions will cover the following themes: Recognising Resilience and Wellbeing, Relationships, Stress/Anxiety, Challenging Conversations and Listening and Communication Skills. Who is leading the training? Sessions will be facilitated by Russell Pearson (Deputy Head at Willowbrook School) and Liz Scott and Stu Newberry, who run the organisation ‘Inner Compass’. Liz and Stu are experienced coaches who specialise in the field of wellbeing. Why? This hub is being formed because we are passionate about bringing together schools in the local area who are keen to place ‘wellbeing’ at the heart of what they do. We know that collectively we can make great things happen in the communities that we serve. When?
