The Exeter Consortium Partnership meeting took place on Wednesday 13th November 2019 at the Westbank Centre, Exminster. The afternoon included: Curriculum InnovationAn insightful and engaging presentation by Gareth Rein, Headteacher at St Joseph's RC Primary School in Penarth, Wales. Gareth and staff members at St Joseph’s have integrated some of the key findings of cognitive science into their pedagogy and practice and the school is developing a knowledge-rich curriculum that opens minds and broadens horizons. St Joseph's is a Curriculum Pioneer School helping the Welsh Government to write its new Curriculum for Wales and is now a Curriculum Innovation School. Primary Data AnalysisSuzie Winter, Performance Data Analyst for West Country Schools Trust provided an analysis of the 2019 results for Primary, looking at reported KS1 and KS2 headlines for 2019 and any trend information available.
